A Barloworld Equipamentos Mozambique, Limited intends to hire for its staff Key Account Manager Level 3 (Key Account Manager level 3). Candidates must have experience in efficiently managing a portfolio of key accounts, aiming to achieve performance goals, agile resolution of client problems, develop innovative solutions and maintain solid client relationships, planning and executing processes that add value to the client.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE SERVICES ARE:

  • Client Integration: The Senior Strategic Account Manager oversees the initial integration process, ensuring new clients are smoothly integrated into the company's ecosystem.

  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations is vital.

  • Client Advocacy: Serving as the voice of the client within the company, a Senior Strategic Account Manager advocates for client needs, ensuring their feedback is heard and addressed.

  • Proactive Support: Anticipating client needs and potential issues before they arise is a key aspect of the role.

  • Renewals and Expansion: Driving client renewals and uncovering opportunities for additional or cross-selling.

  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Regularly analyzing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client success, such as customer satisfaction scores, net promoter scores, and churn rates.

  • Team Leadership and Mentoring: As senior team members, they often lead and mentor junior customer success managers.

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive client success and growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Sales, Administration, or related field (e.g., Marketing or Engineering). Some experience in technology will be a plus.

  • At least 5 years of experience in mining, construction, or energy and transportation.

  • Proven practice in strategic account management and solid experience in a B2B environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and account management systems.

  • Understanding of the commercial aspects of the business. Understanding of internal business functions. Networking and commercial prospecting.

  • Influence and negotiation skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and good knowledge of English.

  • Copy of the academic qualifications certificate or equivalent document.

  • Copy of Professional Training Certificates. Copy of Work Certificates.

The start of activities is scheduled for July/August 2026 in Tete, Mozambique.
