What the role involves
As a Civil Engineer, you will be technically responsible for planning, coordination and direct supervision of civil construction works. Your daily routine includes:
Planning and supervising the execution of works, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality, safety and operational objectives;
Managing teams in the field, promoting a productive and safe work environment;
Controlling the technical compliance of works, ensuring that all specifications are met;
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and other stakeholders of the project;
Monitor schedules, costs, productivity and resource allocation;
Monitor earthmoving, drainage, hydraulic works and infrastructure in general;
Ensure strict application of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (SSAQ) standards;
Prepare technical and work progress reports for management and customers;
Maintain a professional, transparent and ethical relationship with all stakeholders;
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's processes and operational capacity.

This vacancy is based in Beira, with work expected in the district of Búzi. The focus is on infrastructure works that require technical expertise in earthworks, drainage and hydraulic works. What profile makes sense
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate combines solid training with practical experience in Mozambique. The requirements are:
Degree in Civil Engineering;
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and infrastructures;
At least 2 years in coordinating teams and organizing work in the field;
Proven experience in earthworks, drainage, hydraulic works or infrastructures;
Professional experience previous experience in Mozambique;
Ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams;
Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills;
High sense of responsibility, rigor and professional ethics;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS Project;
Availability to work in Búzi;
Valid driving license.
