Purpose of the Role and Commercial Impact

The Account Developer will be the strategic professional responsible for the full commercial management of a defined geographic area in Nampula. The core focus of their role is based on excellence in Point of Sale (POS) execution, accelerating sales volume, building loyalty among active customers, acquiring new distribution points, and continuously increasing the market share (market share) of CCBA brands.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

The selected professional will take on a dynamic field role, responsible for:

  • Management of Targets and Market Share: Ensure strict achievement of volumetric sales targets and expand market share in the territory under their responsibility.

  • Customer Relationship: Develop, strengthen, and maintain solid, ethical, long-term commercial partnerships with retailers, wholesalers, and local distributors.

  • Trade Marketing and POS Execution: Ensure proper implementation of brand promotional initiatives, market activations, correct pricing, adequate stock rotation (FIFO), and strategic placement of visibility materials.

  • Asset and Equipment Management: Monitor the allocation, productivity, and correct use of company refrigeration equipment provided to customers.

  • Digital Transformation: Use CCBA's digital tools and corporate applications daily and systematically for order collection, inventory monitoring, and real-time performance indicator analysis.

  • Market Analysis: Continuously assess local consumer behavior and competitor actions, identifying immediate business opportunities.

Profile, Experience, and Required Qualifications

We are looking for young talents and professionals with a strong commercial drive, resilience, and adaptability:

  • Academic Qualifications: Minimum education equivalent to Completed High School (12th grade or technical equivalent); applications from Recent Graduates in Management, Marketing, Economics, or Commercial Engineering are strongly encouraged.

  • Practical Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or commercial roles in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector will be a clear differential advantage.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (a highly relevant factor due to the company's multinational structure); knowledge of local languages from the northern region will be an asset.

  • Technical and Digital Skills: Comfort with numbers, logical reasoning, and strong analytical skills to interpret sales reports; ease of use with smartphones, tablets, and commercial management systems.

  • Geographic Factor: Being located or having a permanent residence in the Northern Region (Nampula) is considered an operational advantage, although it is not a disqualifying criterion.
