N’weti, a Mozambican National Non-Governmental Organization, intends to recruit eight (8) District Nutrition Technicians (Community Nutrition Intervention Package) to its staff – Vacancy Ref. nofollow" href="https://inademy.com/pt/vagas">Mozambican non-governmental organization, intends to recruit for its staff, in the provinces of Gaza (Chigubo district), Inhambane (Panda district), Tete (Chifunde, Marávia and Doa districts), Manica (Macossa) Zambézia (Pebane district) and Niassa (Mavago district), qualified candidates, with immediate availability, to fill eight (08) Nutrition Technician vacancies, for a period of 6 months, within the scope of a program that aims to improve the accessibility and coverage of nutrition services and interventions made available in communities and health units, in accordance with the requirements below described:

Purpose of the Function
Ensure that activities implemented at district level are aligned with the guidelines set out in the program implementation guide.
Duties and Responsibilities
Actively coordinate and ensure continuous collaboration with the District Health, Women and Social Action Services (SDSMAS) and other stakeholders;
Ensure program implementation at the district level, identify partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations and ensure the quality of implementation in the district;
Provide ongoing technical guidance, mentoring and practical training for local staff, SDSMAS technical team, US, APS and local volunteers;
Provide supervision technical support to Elementary Multipurpose Agents (APEs) and volunteers, ensuring reach of the program's target beneficiary population;
Participate in and support the planning of meetings at nutrition sites and other program activities, reporting to the provincial team;
Ensure coordination and collaboration with the SDSMAS, participating in coordination, planning and joint supervision meetings, and sharing relevant information about the implementation of the program;
Ensure that the intervention at the district level is implemented rigorously, in accordance with the Program Implementation Guide;
Ensure that intervention data is timely reported and duly registered in SISMA;
Ensure the creation and maintenance of nutrition sites for the installation of “Happy Child Corners”;
Plan the needs for equipment and nutritional inputs at the district level and support health units in planning at the community level.
Requirements and Skills Required
Degree in Nutrition, Public Health, General Medicine or technical-professional training relevant, with at least 3 years of proven professional experience in providing health services, with emphasis on nutrition interventions at the community level;
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in activities related to health promotion in the community, with a focus on nutrition and supplementation;
Experience working with non-governmental organizations and local government institutions (is an advantage);
Basic understanding of the context of health services provided in the community by Multipurpose Health Agents (APSs);
Knowledge of the sociocultural context of the province and district to which you are applying;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook;
Fluency in Portuguese and command of the local languages of the province and district to which you are applying;
Be a resident of the district to which you are applying;
Licence to drive motorcycles.
