What the role involves

As an IT Assistant, you will be the focal point for the daily technical support, ensuring that all users have functional equipment and secure access to systems. The main responsibilities include:

• Providing in-person and remote technical support to users, resolving incidents quickly and clearly.

• Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, printers and other IT equipment, ensuring the smooth functioning of the technology park.

• Managing user accounts, email and Microsoft 365 tools, including permissions and security.

• Support the management and maintenance of computer network infrastructure, from switches to cabling.

• Perform installation, update and monitoring of corporate antivirus, ensuring protection against threats.

• Implement and monitor backup and data recovery procedures, minimizing risks of loss.

• Diagnose and resolve problems of hardware, software and connectivity, with autonomy and method.

• Support the management of technological assets and computer inventory, maintaining updated records.

• Produce and update technical documentation and operational procedures, facilitating the transfer of knowledge.

• Provide support in the implementation of new technological solutions, from the testing phase to rollout.

• Ensure compliance with the company's IT security policies institution, promoting good practices.

What profile makes sense

We are looking for someone with a Degree in IT, IT Engineering, Information Systems or related areas, and proven experience in technical support and user assistance. We value solid knowledge in:

• Computer networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).

• Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office tools (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).

• Email account management (creation, permissions, quotas).

• Antivirus installation and management (Sophos, Kaspersky, or similar).

• Data backup and recovery (Veeam, Acronis, or native).

• Programming skills (PowerShell, Python, or basic scripting).

• Technical English for reading documentation and communicating with suppliers.

• Windows operating systems (10, 11, Server) and tools productivity.
