The Instituto Superior de Formação em Teaching e Gestão da Educação Profissional Dom Bosco (ISDB) announced the opening of a public competition to hire new teaching staff for its academic staff in the City of Maputo. The selection process aims to fill Full-Time and Part-Time vacancies for the Industrial Maintenance Department, covering the specialties of Mechanics and Electricity.

• Industrial Maintenance Area - Specialty in Mechanics (1 vacancy).

2. Part-Time Teachers (Per Module)

• Module: Direct Current Machines (1 place);

• Module: Electrical Control and Protection Devices (1 place);

• Module: Electrical Panel Assembly (1 place);

• Module: Technology of Materials and Electrical Equipment (1 place);

• Module: Mechanism Theory (1 place);

Main Responsibilities of the Role

The teachers selected for the ISDB will be committed to shaping the next generation of industrial technicians in the country, competing with them:

• Develop, structure and review the curricular modules in their area of technical specialty;

• Plan course plans and teach practical and theoretical, designing modern teaching-learning strategies;

• Offer tutoring sessions and academic guidance, evaluating performance and promoting continuous motivation of students.

Candidate Profile and Admission Requirements

• Nationality: Mozambican.

• Qualifications Literary: Academic degree of Masters or Doctorate in the field of engineering or technology for which you are applying.

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven practical experience in the industrial sector of your specialty and at least 1 year of experience in the teaching/teaching field.

• Differentiation Pedagogical: Having training in Certificate – B (Competence-Based Professional Training Methodology) will be highly valued and considered a preference in the screening.

• Personal Skills: Excellent ability to work in a team and under pressure, ease of interpersonal relationships, critical attitude towards your tasks, flexible schedules and strong ability to write plans and documents pedagogical.

• Technological Mastery: Proficiency in the use of information and communication technologies (e-mail, internet, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
