Main Activities and Responsibilities
The selected professional will play a crucial role in the food chain and satisfaction of the website's users, with the following duties divided by functional areas:
Kitchen and Confectionery Operations
Confection Control Equipment: Check the cleanliness and correct mechanical functioning of all kitchen equipment before starting production, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Hygiene: Continuously clean the production area, work surfaces and heavy kitchen utensils.
Raw Material Inspection: Evaluate the organoleptic quality of raw materials and ingredients, ensuring that contractual specifications and expiration dates are respected.
Food Production: Measure, mix and combine ingredients using industrial machinery; operate large-volume equipment (grills, industrial fryers and ovens) and monitor oven temperatures to ensure perfect cooking of meals.
Preparation and Portioning
Pre-Preparation (Mise en Place): Wash, peel, cut and trim meats, vegetables and other inputs using manual appliances or electrical.
Customer Service: Prepare, package and portion meals for take-away (take-away) or place them directly on plates and trays at service counters, serving website customers with courtesy.
Line Stock Management: Replenish salad bars, buffets and juice coolers, keeping clear records of food quantities consumed.
Health, Safety and Hygiene (HSE) Compliance
Health Standards: Ensure that all routines comply with food safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Protective Equipment: Ensure mandatory, correct and clean use of Uniform and Safety Equipment Personal Protection (PPE), such as caps, aprons and non-slip footwear.
Waste Management: Keep kitchen drains clean and ensure that all debris, grease and organic waste are removed in an environmentally friendly manner.
Candidate Profile and Admission Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Completed secondary education (12th class or equivalent professional qualification in the hotel/restaurant sector).
Minimum Experience: Between 3 and 5 years of proven practical experience as a Cook, preferably in industrial kitchens, cafeterias of large companies, hospitals or remote camps (camps).
Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of food raw materials, large-scale cooking processes and handling of industrial kitchen equipment.
Basic Skills: Good literacy and numeracy skills (for reading recipes and accurately weighing/measuring ingredients).
Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly organized profile, ability to work under time pressure (focus on strict adherence to meal times) and high team spirit.
