Position Scope and Learning Objectives

The selected intern will work on the frontline of mobilization projects, playing a key role in mapping youth needs and facilitating dialogue between communities and strategic partners. The main responsibilities include:

• Community Mobilization: Design and promote dynamics of active involvement of young people in social projects, monitoring the level of engagement and adherence to actions.

• Social Research and Analysis: Support in the development of data collection tools (surveys, focus groups), conduct field research and compile qualitative and quantitative.

• Report Preparation: Synthesize the results of activities into clear, structured and results-oriented technical reports.

• Stakeholder Management: Support in the facilitation of meetings, workshops and coordination events with development partners, the private sector and local associations.

Profile and General Requirements of Vacancy

We are looking for young leaders with social sensitivity, strong analytical skills and communication skills:

• Academic Training: Bachelor's degree completed or in the final stages in the areas of Social Sciences, Communication, Community Development or related areas.

• Desirable Experience: Previous experience (including volunteering, university projects or previous internships) in work with young people, community mobilization, social projects or consultancy activities.

• Technical Skills:

  • Ability to carry out social research, collection, screening and analysis of data.

  • Accuracy in preparing and formatting technical reports.

• Transversal Skills: Excellent oral and written in Portuguese, ease of facilitation and interaction with different audiences (stakeholders).

• Competitive Advantage: Proficiency in the English language (oral and written) constitutes a strong advantage.
