Barloworld Equipamentos Moçambique, Limitada intends to recruit a Senior Human Resources and Administration Technician to support the execution of activities, procedures, and processes related to Administrative Management and Human Resources Development in the city of Tete.

Mission of the Role:

Provide effective support in the implementation of HR procedures, practices, and policies in compliance with labor legislation and other legal provisions related to the area. The Senior Human Resources and Administration Technician is responsible for providing support in different human resources functions, including recruitment, training and development, as well as performance monitoring. The Senior Human Resources and Administration Technician provides advice and assistance to supervisors and employees. This may include information on training needs and opportunities, job descriptions, performance evaluations, and HR policies.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Conducting internal and external hiring processes, Onboarding and Induction;

  • Personnel Administration: Support the administrative management of Human Resources, ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures, and provide assistance and support to employees on HR administrative matters;

  • Performance Management: Coordinate the performance evaluation process and follow up on performance improvement plans;

  • Compliance: Identify irregularities in the people management system and propose corrections, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and performing other activities inherent to the role;

  • Training and Development: Implementation of training programs and team development;

  • Labor Relations Management: Conflict mediation and ensuring compliance with labor legislation;

  • Monitoring: Update and maintain employee registration data; monitor and report area management indicators.

Requirements and Profile:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Administration or Business Management;

  • Previous experience in similar roles for 4-5 years in large organizations;

  • Mastery of labor legislation, ease with digital tools and Artificial Intelligence;

  • Generalist profile, good communication and mediation skills;

  • Excellent activity planning skills;

  • Dynamic, Innovative and Creative, Focused and Results-Oriented with a high sense of responsibility;

  • Ability to work under pressure;

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to prioritize workload;

  • Proven understanding of Mozambican Labor Law, tax system, social security, insurance and other legal provisions related to the area.

  • Fluent in Portuguese, knowledge of English is an advantage.
