What the role involves
As a Cabling Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of structured cabling, fiber optics, CCTV, access control, and fire systems. The work is hands-on and requires technical rigor, ability to read electrical schematics, and compliance with safety standards.
Main responsibilities
Install and configure network cables, fiber optics, and electronic security systems.
Perform continuity testing, cabling certification, and fault diagnostics.
Interpret technical projects and ensure compliance with client specifications.
Collaborate with the supervision team to ensure deadlines and quality.
Ideal candidate profile
We are looking for professionals with technical training in telecommunications, networks, electricity, electronics, or electrotechnics. We value practical experience in structured cabling, fiber optics, and security systems. Availability to work in Pemba for the three-month project is essential.
Valued requirements
Knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO).
Experience with cable testing and certification tools.
Ability to work in a team and results-oriented mindset.
