SDO is recruiting for its client a Procurement and Logistics Specialist for Maputo.
Main Responsibilities
Request, analyze, and submit to senior decision proposals for the acquisition of goods (consumables or fixed assets) and services, in accordance with approved rules and procedures;
Proceed with the acquisition of goods and services, their management, control, and distribution;
Register, maintain, and inventory fixed assets;
Ensure the management and maintenance of the institution's assets, namely building management and common areas: gym and parking lot;
Monitor the management process of the institution's cafeteria;
Ensure the management of service contracts by guaranteeing their proper execution and respective invoicing: electrical maintenance, carpentry, water and sewage, air conditioning, cleaning and gardening, among others;
Ensure the dispatch of internal and external correspondence and mobile and fixed communication;
Ensure the management of the institution's vehicle fleet, regarding maintenance, overhaul, and repairs;
Request from the structural units reports on the quality of service execution provided by third parties and respective invoicing;
Carry out and participate in the collection, consolidation, analysis, and reporting of indicators in your area of activity, make concrete proposals whenever relevant, ensure the timely production and availability of information to support decision-making;
Continuously analyze the processes inherent to your area of activity, propose improvements to maximize productivity and/or quality of work and/or minimize existing costs;
Perform other activities as defined by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Management or Economics);
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and supply management;
Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written);
User-level computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
