What the role involves
As a Transit Representative, you will be the essential link between DP World and customs clearance agents, ensuring that every import and export process runs smoothly. Your responsibilities include:
Coordination with customs clearance agents: verify received documents, track payments, and constantly monitor the progress of processes.
Container monitoring: ensure correct recording of import/export container status and report any deviations.
Closing transit movements: ensure all movements are closed within stipulated deadlines and that bonds are correctly settled.
Document archiving: collect and organize all transit documentation for audits and customs inspections.
Support to the transit supervisor: be proactive and collaborate on all tasks necessary to achieve the company's objectives, in compliance with laws and customs procedures.
Contribution to HSSE: actively participate in promoting a healthy, safe, and sustainable environment, complying with safety regulations and reporting any identified risks.
