Purpose of the Position and Safety Focus

The Machine Operator will be the professional directly responsible for driving and technically maneuvering the specialized equipment of the Eazi Access fleet at the client's construction site. The core mission of the role is to ensure high-performance, efficient, and strictly safe operation, mitigating the risk of incidents and ensuring the physical integrity of construction teams on the ground and surrounding structures.

Equipment Under Operation

Approved candidates must demonstrate full expertise in handling:

• Telehandlers (Telescopic Handlers);

• MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms), including Cherry Pickers (Articulated/Boom Lifts) and Scissor Lifts (Scissor Platforms).

Technical Profile and Minimum Required Requirements

We are looking for safety-focused professionals with solid field experience and full compliance with traffic and operational regulations:

• Academic Qualifications: Completed Secondary Education (12th Grade or technical equivalent).

• Driving Documentation: Must hold a Valid Driver's License in categories Code C (Heavy Vehicles) or Prison Code PDP - Category G (Professional).

• Operation Certifications: Possession of Valid Licenses and Certificates approved for the specific operation of Telehandlers and MEWP equipment.

• Practical Experience: Minimum proven experience of 03 years of continuous work operating manipulators and elevated platforms in industrial or heavy construction projects.

• Behavioral Attributes: High sense of responsibility, detailed attention to safety signs on construction sites, ability to follow signaler commands, and ease of integration into multicultural teams.

Logistics Structure and Competition Location

• Reporting Line: The professional will report directly to the Base Operator Supervisor.

• Selection Hub: The in-person phase of the competition will take place in Pemba City. The exact address, date, and time of the in-person stages will be communicated in due time only to candidates pre-selected in the resume screening.

• Evaluation Stages: The process will necessarily include Technical Interviews, Practical Maneuvering Assessments on the equipment, and Pre-Employment Medical Exams for physical fitness for work at height.

• Mobilization Logistics: Eazi Access will ensure transportation and mobilization of approved candidates from Pemba City to the work camp in Afunge/Palma, as well as rotation flows and reverse demobilization.
