The ELOS Association, a non-governmental organization of reference in the implementation of public health programs, humanitarian assistance and community protection in Mozambique, officially announced the opening of the selection process for the hiring of Data Digitizers. The technical positions aim to reinforce the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) teams in the districts of Chókwè, Guijá and Massingir, in the Province of Gaza.

General Objective of the Function
The hired professionals will be responsible for ensuring the collection, systematic recording, rigorous verification and rapid insertion of data generated by Protection and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activities. The main scope is to guarantee the quality, integrity and ready availability of statistical information to support the project's monitoring, evaluation and strategic decision-making processes.
Main Job Responsibilities
Data Insertion and Update: Collect and record data from field activities (community sessions, psychosocial care and support groups), inserting them into centralized electronic databases.
Quality Control (Data Cleaning): Perform daily verification and basic cleaning of entered data to ensure consistency, completeness and accuracy of information, mitigating duplications or typing errors.
File Organization: Organize and ensure the safe maintenance of physical files (attendance records, attendance lists) and electronic project reports.
Support for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): Support the consolidation of the district's weekly and monthly quantitative reports. Actively collaborate with the ELOS M&A team during audits and Data Quality Assessment (DQA) processes.
Information Security: Ensure strict confidentiality, ethics and protection of the sensitive data of the beneficiaries served.
Profile, Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
We are looking for professionals focused on results, organized and with strong discipline in meeting deadlines:
Academic Training: Technical or General Secondary Level completed in the areas of Statistics, IT, Public Health, Information Systems Management or related areas.
Practical Experience: Minimum of 01 to 02 years of proven professional experience in data management, typing or similar functions.
Concrete Technological Skills:
Practical mastery of digital data collection tools in the field (online and offline), such as KoboToolbox, ODK (Open Data Kit), Google Forms or similar applications.
Solid knowledge of using software management, pivot tables and data analysis, specifically Microsoft Excel (and statistical software such as SPSS, which is a differentiator).
Behavioral Attributes: Technical ability to type quickly and accurately, excellent time management, meticulous attention to detail, basic analytical ability and ease of operating under pressure.
Differential Competitive (Valuation Factors)
Previous practical experience in community projects or public health programs.
Basic knowledge of Health Information Systems in force in Mozambique.
Fluency in Portuguese and excellent communication skills in local languages spoken in Gaza Province (Changana).
Reporting and Supervision Line
The Data Enterer will report directly to the organization's Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Advisor, maintaining close daily operational collaboration with provincial supervisors and community facilitators in districts.
