The Superior Council of the Judiciary of the Public Prosecutor's Office (CSMMP) has opened a public tender to fill 10 positions in the career of Assistant Court Officer, intended for the District Attorney's Offices of the Republic. There are 5 positions for Judicial Clerk 3rd class and 5 for Process Server 3rd class. What the role involves

Assistant Court Officers play an essential role in supporting the judicial and administrative activities of the prosecutor's offices. As a Judicial Clerk, you will be responsible for organizing cases, drafting official documents, recording procedural acts, and filing documents. The Process Server acts in the execution of summons, notifications, subpoenas, and other external duties ordered by magistrates.

Both roles require rigor, discretion, and teamwork skills, in an environment that values ethics and public service.

Which profile makes sense

This selection process is aimed at Mozambican citizens, aged 18 or over, who are in full enjoyment of their civil and political rights and have at least 12th grade or equivalent. Organized candidates with good written and oral communication skills and a commitment to public service are valued. No prior experience is required, but maturity and responsibility are differentiators.

Applications are open for 30 days from the publication of the notice (May 14, 2026). The admission request must be made by a recognized application, addressed to the President of the CSMMP, and delivered to the Council Secretariat, at Avenida Julius Nyerere, No. 15, in Maputo. The required documents include: birth certificate or ID, educational certificate, certificate of mental and physical health, criminal record certificate, two passport-sized photos, military declaration, Curriculum Vitae – which you can prepare with our resume builder –, declaration of honor commitment, and photocopy of the NUIT. Failure to submit any document will result in exclusion from the selection process. The selection process is valid for three years from the publication of the final list in the Official Gazette. The list of admitted and excluded candidates will be posted in the atrium of the CSMMP and other bodies of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
