Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Technician Internship

SLB is recruiting a Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Technical Intern to support the maintenance, testing, and preparation of field equipment. Role overview

In this role, the intern supports technical teams in workshops, laboratories, or operational bases, helping ensure equipment is ready for use and aligned with operational and safety standards. The internship is designed to build applied technical skills, particularly in mechanics, electricity, and electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Support the assembly, testing, maintenance, and repair of tools and equipment.

• Carry out basic inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Assist with inventory control and equipment documentation records.

• Check that tools and equipment meet operational and safety standards.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for day-to-day operations.

• Strictly follow established safety rules and operational procedures.

Candidate profile

• Technical certificate or equivalent diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply.

• Solid practical foundation in electronics and mechanics.

• Strong commitment to QHSE, including quality, health, safety, and environment.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to take initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
