Opening for (1) Applications Specialist

Hospitec, SA, based in Maputo and operating in the healthcare sector, is looking to hire one (1) Applications Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper use of laboratory equipment supplied by the company, provide adequate user training, and deliver technical support for such equipment;

• Prepare training materials to be used in user training sessions;

• Provide customer support for the proper use of laboratory products, including user training;

• Carry out the full training process;

• Prepare application reports in line with requirements and recommendations;

• Support the sales department with technical customer guidance;

• Provide after-sales support, including guidance, configuration, and training on equipment use;

• Support customers in resolving errors and answering questions related to equipment use;

• Work closely and continuously with the company’s different departments;

• Comply with the requirements and practices defined in the QMS processes and procedures applicable to the role;

• Receive, handle, and implement the necessary actions related to product safety and quality notices.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Clinical Analysis or Health Sciences (mandatory requirement);

• More than 5 years of professional experience in a clinical laboratory setting;

• Experience with and training on Hematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology, Flow Cytometry, Blood Gas Analysis, and other key laboratory areas. Candidates must also have specific training on the brands Beckman Coulter, BioMérieux, Medica Corp, Elitech/Vital Scientific, and Abbott Rapid Diagnostics (mandatory requirement);

• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory requirement);

• Good computer skills;

• Driver’s license (mandatory requirement);

• Willingness to travel within and outside the country (mandatory requirement);
