What the role involves
The central purpose of this role is to maintain equipment in like-new condition, ensuring reliable performance within standards. This is achieved through regular inspections, corrective actions to restore the inherent condition of equipment, troubleshooting to eliminate root causes of failures, and contribution to the ZBB maintenance budget. In addition, the specialist trains operators in the correct use of equipment and the execution of autonomous operations.
Main responsibilities
Safety, Health and Environment
Fully comply with safety, health and environmental procedures, as well as applicable legislation.
Maintain high standards of safety and tidiness in the workplace.
Identify unsafe practices through Safety Interaction Observations (SIOs).
Perform safety inspections and audit safe maintenance practices.
Ensure adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and that all maintenance tools are in good working order.
Maintenance and Operations
Locate facilities, equipment, spare parts, and documentation or relevant systems.
Plan and prepare maintenance tasks efficiently.
Perform repairs and maintenance activities, as well as operate workshop equipment.
Teamwork and Development
Communicate effectively within teams and actively contribute to personal and team development.
Performance and Delivery Services
Manage the backlog effectively, generating labels for follow-up work.
Ensure customer satisfaction with zero rework.
The profile we are looking for
The ideal candidate combines solid technical training with practical experience in high production environments. We value efficient, communicative, dynamic professionals with a strong sense of responsibility.
Qualifications and skills
Middle level technical training in Mechanics and Electricity.
Proficiency in computer science at user level.
Acceptable level of English (spoken and written).
1 to 3 years of technical experience in mechanics/electrical and bottling in an FMCG environment.
