PSI Mozambique is recruiting a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager for Maputo. This role is suited to professionals with strong experience in procurement, logistics, and supplier management, with the ability to ensure efficient processes, operational control, and compliance with internal policies and donor requirements.
Role overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the full procurement cycle, supporting project needs planning, and ensuring the supply chain operates with discipline, efficiency, and a strong focus on value for money. The position requires strong organizational ability, operational business insight, and experience working in high-demand, compliance-driven environments.

Key responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQ, RFP, and contracts.
Plan and monitor the project purchasing pipeline, aligning timelines, priorities, and operational needs.
Oversee logistics, warehouse, and inventory management activities.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and the requirements of donors and institutional partners.
Negotiate with suppliers, support purchasing decisions, and identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost optimization.
Develop dashboards and track supply chain performance indicators.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
Candidate profile
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field.
Between 6 and 8 years of experience in procurement and logistics operations.
Experience working with donors such as USG, UN, Global Fund, among others.
Hands-on experience in purchasing planning, supplier management, and supply chain control.
Strong analytical skills, sound judgment in decision-making, and a focus on execution.
Fluency in Portuguese and a good command of English.
