General Description of Functions and Responsibilities
The selected professional will be responsible for mediating the commercial relationship with customers and ensuring the operational execution of the following routines:
Parcel Logistics: Carry out service, reception, weighing, registration and dispatch of cargo or goods. Ensure correct identification of the sender, recipient, destination, nature of the goods and amounts charged.
Packaging and Security: Ensure that all cargo received is properly packaged, labeled and forwarded to those responsible for road operations, scrupulously respecting internal security procedures.
Sales and Commercial Service: Actively promote shipping services orders, providing clear clarifications on the price list, estimated delivery times, transport limitations and procedures for collecting goods.
Cash and Ticket Office Operation: Receive, check, store and carry out the daily accounting of all monetary values charged in connection with the sale of tickets, cargo dispatch or other terminal services.
Flow Management and Complaints:Support in the physical organization of the flow of passengers and baggage in the terminal in coordination with the runway teams. Register and forward complaints or incidents presented by customers through institutional channels.
Secrecy and Compliance: Ensure absolute confidentiality and care in the processing of users' personal data, amounts collected and confidential company documents, complying with service orders, regulations and internal circulars.
Candidate Profile and Minimum Requirements
To ensure compliance with the standard of excellence required by SDO and its client, interested parties must meet the following requirements:
Literary Qualifications: Have completed 12th Class of the National Education System or equivalent qualification of Middle Technical Level (preferably in Management, Logistics, Accounting or related areas).
Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in customer service, sales, cashier, ticket office, warehouse logistics or freight forwarding roles. Previous experience in road transport companies for passengers or goods will be highly valued.
IT Skills: Basic knowledge of computers from the user's perspective and ease in learning and using IT systems for billing and stock management.
Time Availability: Total flexibility to work under a regime of rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, according to the transport terminal's scale needs.
Behavioral Skills: Strictly professional attitude, cordiality, patience, resilience to deal with the public under pressure, excellent verbal communication and a high sense of responsibility and honesty.
