Logos Indústrias is hiring a Solar Sales Representative for Maputo. This role is ideal for professionals with sales experience in the solar sector who can lead consultative sales, present solutions clearly, and support clients through a more technical and often longer sales cycle. The focus is on generating business, building strong commercial relationships, and selling solar energy solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Role overview

The successful candidate will join the sales team with direct responsibility for prospecting, client development, and closing deals. We are looking for someone who can identify real market opportunities, understand technical and commercial needs, and turn that assessment into well-structured proposals.

This is an on-site position in Maputo and requires availability to travel whenever needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and qualify potential clients for solar energy solutions.

  • Manage the client portfolio and maintain active sales prospecting.

  • Prepare tailored technical-commercial quotations and proposals.

  • Clearly present the technical and financial benefits of the proposed solutions.

  • Carry out follow-up through to closing and monitor client satisfaction after the sale.

  • Gather and share ongoing feedback on market conditions, customer behavior, and newly identified needs.

  • Work closely with the sales manager to define strategies that increase results and open new business opportunities.

  • Track developments in the solar market and adjust the sales approach whenever necessary.

Profile and requirements

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in field sales within the solar sector.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems.

  • Previous experience in technical sales of higher-value solar products.

  • Strong negotiation skills, active listening, and the ability to understand client needs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially for preparing quotations and reports.

  • Comfort using digital tools, including CRM, solar simulation tools, and pipeline management systems.

  • Proactive profile with a practical approach to problem-solving.

  • Patience and consistency to manage longer sales cycles, including a client education component.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and stay goal-oriented.

  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.

  • Availability to travel whenever required.
