VACANCY – CUSTOMS & SHIPPING SUPERVISOR (Pemba, Mozambique)
Servtec SBM is recruiting a Customs Clearance and Shipping Supervisor to join a reference Oil & Gas environment. This is an operational leadership position, not an administrative one. We are looking for a professional with proven experience in customs compliance, logistics coordination and team management, capable of ensuring the efficient and compliant flow of goods, equipment and materials across borders.

What the role involves
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all shipping activities. import and export customs clearance, ensuring the correct preparation and submission of customs documentation. You will lead the customs and shipping team, manage shipping schedules, freight processes and accurately report the status of cargo. The role requires a proactive stance to minimize customs delays, costs and risks, directly supporting the company's projects and operations.
Where your work makes an impact
Customs compliance: Ensure that each movement of goods is in full compliance with Mozambican regulations and internal policies.
Logistics efficiency: Coordinate with authorities customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
Team leadership: Manage and develop the customs and shipping team, promoting good practices and continuous improvement.
Risk reduction: Identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks, excessive costs or non-conformities before they impact operations.
The profile that we are looking
Bachelor's degree (preferably in relevant field) or higher qualification.
Minimum 3 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 3 years experience in customs clearance.
Relevant course or certification in customs and clearance.
Competence in English (required).
Proven leadership skills, attention to detail and compliance vision.
