Mota-Engil, one of the largest construction companies in Africa, is recruiting a Workshop Supervisor to join its team in Maputo. This is an opportunity for professionals with experience in heavy equipment maintenance, in a demanding and large-scale environment.

• Perform diagnoses and repair faultsin the electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic areas, ensuring the continuous operability of the equipment;

• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, analyzing and interpreting drawings and technical specifications to ensure interventions accurate;

• Manage stocks of parts and materials, ensuring availability without excess;

• Perform complementary tasks that guarantee the good performance of the function and the productivity of the work.

The profile we are looking for

• Compulsory education or equivalent technical course in the area of mechanics, electricity or related skills;

• Solid knowledge in electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical locksmithing;

• Professional experience in maintaining equipment in the construction sector, preferably in civil construction and/or mining projects;

• Experience in stock management and maintenance teams, with leadership and organization;

• Knowledge of information and communication technologies for recording and reporting activities;

• Good knowledge of English and/or French, for communicating with international teams and technical manuals;

• Flexibility, communication effectiveness, planning and organization, initiative and proactivity, rigor and reliability, and strong ability to work in team;

• Total availability for mobility within Mozambique, according to the needs of the projects.
