What does a Traffic Engineer do at ETM?

As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that bus circulation is efficient, safe, and aligned with the population's needs. Your main responsibilities include:

• Traffic and mobility studies and analyses: Conduct detailed diagnostics of vehicle and passenger flow, identifying patterns and opportunities for improvement.

• Route and itinerary planning: Design routes that optimize travel time, reduce costs, and increase service coverage.

• Operational monitoring: Monitor fleet performance daily, ensuring schedules are met and deviations are minimized.

• Problem identification: Detect congestion, recurring delays, and operational risks, proposing data-driven solutions.

• Fleet management support: Collaborate in defining schedules, driver rosters, and vehicle allocation, ensuring maximum productivity.

• Preparation of technical reports: Produce clear and objective documents that guide management decision-making.

The ideal profile for this position

ETM is looking for a professional with a solid background and analytical vision. The requirements are:

• Education: Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation or Traffic, or equivalent area.

• Age: Not older than 35 years.

• Experience: Proven knowledge in IT, report writing, traffic management, and urban mobility.
