Main Responsibilities and Lines of Action

The Technical/Pedagogical Assistant will act as the right operational arm of the Training Specialist (Training Specialist), taking control of the following functions:

  • Development and Formatting of Materials: Provide direct support in the creation, editing, pagination and linguistic adaptation of training materials, operational guides and teaching resources aimed at different groups of providers and local realities.

  • Logistics and Organization of Events: Coordinate the assembly and logistics of workshops, seminars and field training activities at national, provincial and district level, ensuring that all resources are available on time.

  • Documentation and Evidence of Learning: Rigorously manage and archive evidence of training actions, including the consolidation of attendance lists, session evaluation forms and quantitative monitoring records.

  • Coordination with Provincial Counterparts: Establish fluid communication channels with the project's provincial and district contact points to align the sending of educational materials and validate that they are suitable for the local context.

  • Support in Pilot Tests: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of training packages in pilot provinces, collecting comments (feedback) from trainers and participants to propose technical adjustments to the manuals.

  • General Administrative Support: Ensure daily administrative support and the preparation of statistical data necessary for the preparation of progress reports of the team.

Candidate Profile and Required Requirements

Academic Qualifications and Languages:

  • Education: Completed degree in Education Sciences, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, Psychology or directly related areas.

  • Languages: Absolute fluency and excellent writing ability in Portuguese (mandatory requirement).

Mandatory Practical Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven professional experience in providing technical and pedagogical support to training, institutional capacity building or development programs community.

  • Real experience in producing, formatting and adapting teaching materials and teaching guides for different types of audiences and literacy levels.

  • High organizational capacity, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ease in dealing with multidisciplinary teams and government or society partners civil.
