The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) is recruiting two drivers (m/f) to join its project teams in Mozambique. If you have proven experience in transporting passengers and goods, a driving license in the required categories and a desire to contribute to community development, this opportunity is for you. The selected drivers will be a key player in logistical support to the communities where AKF implements its projects, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most. The role requires mobility and availability to work, preferably, in the implementation districts in Cabo Delgado or other provinces of the country. You will drive vehicles to transport passengers and goods at the service of the Foundation, providing friendly and safe service. The role goes beyond driving: it includes assisting in loading and unloading items, supporting administrative tasks such as sending documents and collecting invoices, and ensuring the general conservation of the vehicle. Will strictly comply with the highway code, internal transport policies and maintenance plans, immediately reporting any anomaly to supervision. In the event of a serious breakdown or accident, you must immobilize the vehicle and follow the manual. You are also responsible for correctly filling out the logbook, ensuring the hand delivery of confidential documents and not transporting unauthorized people or goods. Compliance with AKF's Safeguarding, anti-corruption and Gender Equality policies is mandatory.

This role is essential to the effectiveness of AKF's community development projects in Mozambique. By ensuring safe and punctual logistics of teams and materials, it allows community mobilization activities, technical assistance and direct support to populations to take place without setbacks. What profile makes sense

Does the ideal candidate have CE, P, G and D driving license issued by INATTER, with at least 3 years of proven experience in the transport of passengers and goods. It is essential to have a clean driving record, without accidents or incidents, and basic knowledge of automobile mechanics from the user's perspective. Humble and respectful conduct, commitment to organizational policies and sensitivity to gender issues are valued. It is necessary to know how to use MS Office 365 and be proficient in Portuguese. Knowledge of local languages ​​(Emákwa, Muwani, among others) is an advantage. Good organizational skills, digital literacy, oral and written communication, ease of teamwork, interest in social development and the ability to work with or without supervision are also desired.
