nós Saúde Moçambique – NS, an experienced, non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to promoting the health, well-being and sustainable development of Mozambican communities, has officially announced the opening of a recruitment competition to fill three (3) Administrative Assistant vacancies. The selected professionals will work in delegations in the provinces of Gaza and Nampula, providing essential logistical and operational support for the execution of rapid response projects to climate emergencies and strengthening community health.

Main Responsibilities and Attributions

Administrative Assistants will have a dynamic role in the operational and financial maintenance of the project bases, assuming the following functions:

  • Systems and Files: Organize and keep the institution's administrative systems, general archive of documents, contact lists and subscriptions.

  • Accountability and Finance: Ensure that all advances of funds are justified or repaid monthly. Ensure strict compliance with deadlines in the delivery of complete and controlled accounting folders, in addition to directly managing the working capital (petty cash).

  • Infrastructure Management: Supervise the physical maintenance of the office to ensure a pleasant and safe working environment, in addition to monitoring the availability and proper functioning of office materials and equipment.

  • Expense Control and Charges: Manage fixed expenses (water, electricity, communications and provision of services) and submit copies of proof of payment of salaries, INSS, IRPS and retainer contracts.

  • Event and Travel Logistics: Organize integrated logistics (travel, transport, accommodation and food) for meetings, training seminars, field missions and conferences, managing the flow of travel requests with the travel sector Treasury.

  • Workflow: Issue, register, protocol and forward the continuous flow of incoming and outgoing correspondence and official documents.

Candidate Profile and Required Requirements

Academic Qualifications and Experience Minimum: in dynamic environments.

Technical Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of modern office management and data archiving systems.

  • Practical and operational knowledge of office equipment (computers, printers, scanners, etc.).

  • Computing knowledge of the tools in the Microsoft Office package (with a focus on Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel).

Behavioral and Personal Skills:

  • Proven organizational capacity, including strong ability to plan tasks, establish priorities autonomously and ensure compliance with deadlines and goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and, simultaneously, maintain a harmonious relationship in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Analytical ability to identify field operational problems and suggest quick and efficient solutions.

  • Performance guided by professional ethics, integrity, confidentiality and high level of professionalism.

  • Excellent management skills verbal and written communication.
