What awaits the Electricity Technician on a daily basis

The role requires more than basic knowledge of electricity. The professional will be responsible for inspecting special lighting and power supply equipment and systems, always within the parameters recommended by national and international regulatory institutions. You will also carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on electromechanical and protection systems against overvoltages and lightning strikes.

Other tasks include evaluating operating conditions based on manufacturer recommendations, preparing studies and drawings for new projects, updating electrical diagrams and producing technical reports with opinions and solutions. The technician will also be able to perform basic civil construction, mechanical, electronic and IT tasks, when related to their specialty.

Ideal profile: what we are looking for

• Mozambican nationality – mandatory requirement.

• Medium Technical-Professional Level of Electrical Systems – training proven by certificate.

• Solid knowledge of electrical maintenance – valuable practical experience.

• Command of the Portuguese language (speaking and written) and knowledge of English – essential for dealing with technical documentation and international standards.

• IT from a user perspective – for preparing reports and schemes.

• High level of responsibility, commitment and professional ethics – we work with safety and demanding standards.

• Ability to work under pressure – the environment demands quick and precise responses.

• Proven residence in the province of the vacancy – Vilanculos, Tete or Beira.
