Movitel S.A., a reference operator in the telecommunications sector in Mozambique, is recruiting (05) Radio Optimization Technicians (m/f) to join its team in the Radio Optimization Department, in Maputo. What the role involves

As a Radio Optimization Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting the network performance, analyze and resolve faults, and manage customer complaints to ensure the best user experience. It will also have the mission of preparing resources and network solutions for events, festivals and other highly influential activities, carrying out benchmarking and implementing solutions to improve and expand coverage. Day-to-day work also includes exchanging and maintaining network equipment installed in telecommunications towers, requiring availability to work at heights.

Profile and requirements

To apply, you must have a Bachelor's degree or higher education in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT or related areas, with solid knowledge in GSM, WCDMA, LTE, wave propagation and telecommunications fundamentals. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the area is required, mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), high capacity for data analysis and interpretation, and strong ability to solve problems and make decisions. Proactivity, dynamism, spirit of initiative, ability to work in a team, good communication and interpersonal skills, and fluency in English (oral and written) are also valued.

Preferred requirements

Experience or knowledge in network planning and optimization tools such as MapInfo, Google Earth and Atoll, as well as the configuration and use of radio equipment from suppliers ZTE and Huawei, will be considered an advantage.
