What does an Airport Operations Technician do?
The OPA is the professional who ensures that the airport operates safely, efficiently and fluidly. Your daily tasks include:
Inspect the movement area - perimeter, runways, taxiways, signs and safety zones, reporting anomalies to the Air Traffic Controllers, especially in adverse weather conditions. Airport.
Control the daily operation of the terminal: check-in systems, boarding gates, passenger assistance, boarding/arrival rooms, special rooms and baggage circuits.
Supervise equipment and systems such as telescopic bridges, information panels, X-ray machines, conveyor belts, scales, sound system and gas supply water.
Watch aircraft, crew and passengers at the apron, park aircraft, inspect equipment and authorized vehicles, and enforce safety standards.

Profile we are looking for
To apply, you need to:
Be a Mozambican citizen
Be between 18 and 35 years old
Fluent command of Portuguese and English (spoken and written)
Computer knowledge from the user's perspective (Word and Excel)
Ability to work in a team, flexibility, high sense of responsibility and professional secrecy
Availability to work shifts
Light Car Driving License
Knowledge and experience in the field of aviation (advantage)
Dynamism, spirit of initiative, critical capacity and ability to maintain harmonious working relationships under pressure

How to apply
Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2026, through the newspaper “Notícias” to no. 3307. The envelope must contain a motivation letter indicating clearly the province for which you are applying (Maputo, Tete, Pemba or Nampula). On the outside of the envelope, also mention the corresponding province. Without this indication, the application will be disregarded.
