The opportunity is for the in-person model on a full-time basis, based in the Machaze district, in the province of Manica. The professional will be a key player in supporting operational teams by controlling and guaranteeing the quality of the project's statistical information.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

The Data Assistant will play a dynamic role in the organization's information governance, assuming the following functions:

  • Information Management and Flow: Actively support the processes of collection, consolidation and continuous verification of the quality of project data in the field.

  • Systems Operation: Insert, update, clean and validate data on official information platforms, including the DHIS2 ecosystem and internal databases.

  • Quality Control: Timely identify errors, omissions or inconsistencies in statistical data and support their immediate correction in close coordination with management teams field.

  • Analysis and Reporting: Prepare basic monitoring reports and support the structural maintenance and daily management of databases.

  • Security and Organization: Ensure the physical and digital organization, strict confidentiality and maximum security of all project data and documents.

Candidate Profile and Requirements Admission

  • Academic Qualifications:Complete secondary education. Technical-professional training or higher in Statistics, IT, Health Information Management or related areas constitutes a strong competitive advantage.

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical experience in data collection, insertion, cleaning and management tasks, with preference given to those who have already worked on public health projects or NGOs.

  • Technological Skills: Good operational knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer data management tools. Previous experience in using the DHIS2 system and handling mobile devices to collect field data (tablets or smartphones) will be an advantage.

  • Personal Skills: Strong attention to detail, high teamwork capacity, professional ethics and good interpersonal communication.

  • Logistics Factor: Total availability to perform frequent trips to local communities (field) and taking up residence in the Machaze district.
