  • Providing administrative support to WASH activities (WAVE system), including submission of purchase requisitions, project invoices and other documentation, in accordance with IOM standards.

  • Monitoring purchasing and financial processes, keeping the WASH database updated and reporting delays or constraints to the supervisor.

  • Manage information: compile and organize project documents (physical and digital) from different donors, and keep the online WASH shared folder updated.

  • Support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) team in integrating tools on mobile devices and validating and processing collected data.

  • Provide logistical and administrative support to meetings, committees and conferences; manage WASH team calendars and appointments in Outlook and receive visitors.

  • Write and respond to communications with government authorities, support informal translations of general correspondence, and produce complex documents and reports.

  • Review and format texts to ensure accuracy of grammar, punctuation and style, in accordance with established standards.

  • Perform other tasks as required.

What profile makes sense

Education

  • High school diploma with four years of relevant experience; or

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field with two years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Outlook);

  • Attention to detail and ability to methodically organize documents;

  • Discretion, customer orientation patience and willingness to learn;

  • Previous experience with international humanitarian organizations, governmental or non-governmental in a multicultural context is an advantage.

Skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills;

  • Personal commitment and high level of integrity;

  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds professionals;

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;

  • Ability to work under pressure.

Languages

Fluency in English and Portuguese (oral and written) is mandatory. Knowledge of any local language spoken in northern Mozambique is an advantage. Proficiency will be assessed during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
