Main Job Responsibilities

The Driver Assistant will play a fundamental role in the company's distribution flow, being responsible for the following tasks:

• Cargo Handling: Directly assist the driver in the loading and unloading processes of goods, strictly respecting work safety standards and handling of weights.

• Checking and Integrity: Thoroughly check the accuracy, quantities and physical integrity of the loads before starting the route and at the time of delivery to the recipient.

• Packing and Conservation: Ensure that the goods are correctly packaged, protected from damage and that the transport vehicle remains clean, organized and with the load well tied.

• Administrative Support: Assist in controlling shipping notes, invoicing and mandatory collection of signatures and stamps from customers upon receipt.

• Efficient Communication: Maintain clear and fluid communication with the driver and the operational base to optimize delivery times and resolve unforeseen events in the traffic.

Candidate Profile and Admission Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent completed.

• Legal Qualification: Valid professional category driving license for commercial vehicles (essential requirement to support maneuvers or replacements when necessary).

• Physical Condition: Excellent physical fitness and resistance for the continuous performance of tasks of lifting, loading and unloading goods.

• Technical Knowledge: Basic mastery of cargo handling techniques, stevedoring and essential road and industrial safety procedures.

• Personal Attributes: High commitment to punctuality, ease to follow instructions and work in a team, good communication skills and strong ability to adapt to dynamic routines.

• Experience: Previous experience as a driver assistant or in the warehouse/logistics area will be considered a preferred advantage.

• Availability: Flexibility to work at different times according to the delivery schedule.
