What you will do on a daily basis

As a Driver's Assistant, you will be the driver's right hand throughout the entire route — from leaving the warehouse to delivery to the customer. Your main responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading of goods, strictly following safety and handling procedures to avoid damage or accidents.

• Checking the accuracy and integrity of the loads before delivery, checking that the volumes and articles correspond to the transport documents.

• Packaging and protecting the products during transport, ensuring that they are well packaged and insurance.

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle throughout trips, ensuring that items are stored stably.

• Support with documentation of deliveries, including collecting signatures from customers when necessary.

• Effective communication with the driver and other team to ensure an agile and smooth workflow setbacks.

The profile we are looking for

To be successful in this role, it is important to meet the following requirements:

• Complete general secondary education or equivalent.

• Previous experience as a cargo driver's assistant or in logistics (preferred, but not mandatory).

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and dynamic environment. to changes in the day's priorities.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team.

• Good physical condition to carry out loading and unloading tasks safely.

• Good communication skills to interact with drivers, customers and colleagues.

• Basic knowledge of cargo handling techniques and loading procedures security.

• Commitment to punctuality and the delivery of quality services.

• Availability to work varying hours and meet delivery deadlines.

• Valid driving license of the professional category for commercial vehicles.

• Residence in Maputo (will be an advantage).
