General Information about the Position

• Work Location: Mueda, Cabo Delgado Province

• Contract Duration: 6 Months (Renewable)

• Number of Vacancies: 1 Position

• of paid vacation for each month of work.

Main Missions and Responsibilities

The Program Manager will be responsible for the global leadership of the following areas:

• Operational Planning and Execution: Coordinate and supervise the implementation of health and nutrition activities in accordance with the approved proposals. Lead stock management, opening procurement tenders, budget monitoring and expense analysis in the technical area.

• Monitoring and MEAL Tools: Develop and update project management tools monthly (quantitative/narrative APR, work plan, expense schedule, etc.). Ensure the smooth functioning of the Feedback and Complaint Response Mechanism (Feedback and Complaint Response Mechanism) with beneficiaries.

• Supervision and Team Leadership: Recruit, train and coordinate the daily activities of the project team. Establish Individual Action Plans and conduct annual performance evaluations (Appraisals) to ensure collective efficiency.

• Institutional Representation: Technically represent the ACF at the local level in relevant forums, specific working groups and health and nutrition clusters, strengthening the network of institutional partners.

• Needs Assessment and Report:Carry out regular assessments of the humanitarian needs of populations affected by the crisis and contribute technical data to the formulation of new projects. Finalize monthly reports for the coordination sectors and the Ministry of Health (including 5W matrices).

Candidate Profile and Required Requirements

Qualifications and Professional Experience:

• Academic Degree: Bachelor's degree or Mandatory degree in relevant areas (Health, Nutrition, Public Health, MHPSS or similar).

• Time of Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience in the area of activity.

• Previous experience in leadership and direct management of teams operational.

• Preferred Factors: Experience working in humanitarian projects located in volatile contexts; professional history in International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs); and geographic/operational knowledge of the Mueda district will be considered a strong asset.

Technical and Transversal Skills:

• Property in project cycle management (schedule, human resources, logistics and budget).

• Good computer knowledge from the user's perspective, with a focus on productivity tools (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluency in the English language and command of local languages/dialects of the province will be an advantage.

• High autonomy, proactivity, critical reasoning, ability to make complex decisions and ease of working in multicultural contexts.

• Practical knowledge in Personal Security Management and individual commitment to gender equality.
