Norwegian Popular Aid (APN) in Mozambique, an independent organization based on membership membership, headquartered in Norway and with a global presence in more than 30 countries, announced the opening of a public competition for the hiring of 1 (one) Logistics Assistant. The position will be based in Pemba, in the province of Cabo Delgado, with an initial contractual relationship of 1 year renewable. Main Activities and Responsibilities

The Logistics Assistant will play a transversal role in supporting humanitarian operations, assuming the following functions:

• Procurement and Purchasing: Support local procurement processes, supplier management, carrying out market research and rigorous evaluation of prices.

• Inventory Management: Control the organization's assets, manage inventory and supervise the flow and organization of warehouses.

• Fleet Management: Supervise the vehicle fleet, support field teams and keep vehicle and employee tracking systems updated.

• Compliance and Audit: Ensure accurate, organized documentation in full compliance with the standards required for internal and external audits.

• Partner Support: Prepare detailed logistics reports and support/deliver logistics training training for the organization's local partners.

Candidate Profile and Admission Requirements

• Qualifications Academic: Bachelor's degree or higher education completed in Logistics or strictly related areas.

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven practical experience in the logistics area, with strong preference for professionals who have already worked in the international NGO sector.

• Technical Skills: History solid work experience in procurement processes, inventory management and vehicle fleet control.
