Vacancy for Network Technician

Movitel S.A., through the Networks Department, intends to recruit 01 (one) Network Technician for its headquarters in Maputo.

The professional will be responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security and performance of communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of equipment and infrastructures networks that support IT Billing systems;

• Ensure the availability, performance and security of networks and systems associated with the company's billing and collection platform;

• Monitor the operation of network systems and services, identifying and resolving incidents in a timely manner to minimize operational impacts;

• Provide technical support to IT Billing systems, ensuring correct integration between network platforms and databases and billing applications;

• Participate in the implementation, updating and optimization of network infrastructures and systems related to billing services.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science or related areas;

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administration of networks, systems or technical support, preferably in telecommunications environments or billing systems;

• Knowledge of computer networks, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, routing and communication protocols;

• Basic or intermediate knowledge of billing systems (Billing), databases and systems integration;

• Experience in configuring and monitoring network equipment and systems operational;

• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and respond quickly to critical incidents;

• Fluency in English, with good oral and written communication skills;

• Good analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, organization and results-oriented skills.
