What you will do on board the Solitaire and Stingray vessels

The Offshore Field Engineer will play a vital role in the technical supervision of the launch of rigid underwater pipelines (including trunk lines and MEG lines), operating in shallow and deep waters. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Technical Launch Supervision: Provide direct technical supervision in S-lay line launch operations, ensuring that execution strictly follows approved procedures and engineering specifications.

• CSR Support: Support the Company Site Representative (Company Site Representative - CSR) in coordinating and supervising installation activities to onboard the ship, acting as his deputy (deputy) when necessary.

• Quality and Safety Assurance: Monitor the performance of contractors, ensuring full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and QA/QC (Quality Assurance and Control) standards.

• Management of Change (MoC): Identify technical deviations in time in the field and manage formal Change Management processes to mitigate operational risks.

• Risk Analysis and Interface: Actively participate in risk assessments, HAZIDs, technical reviews and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS), bridging the gap between engineering, operations and HSE teams.

• Daily Operational Reporting: Record daily installation progress, manage project reporting systems and ensure clear and precise shift schedules.

Candidate Profile and Required Qualifications

Academic Training and Mandatory Certifications:

• Academic Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related areas.

• Offshore Certifications Valid: Valid BOSIET (Helicopter Sea Survival and Escape Training) certificate and OGUK medical examination with attestation of physical robustness for offshore work.

Practical Experience in the Energy Sector:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven practical experience in the Petroleum and Gas, with a focus on large-scale offshore projects.

• Minimum of 5 years of specific experience in line installation campaigns using the S-lay method.

• Solid track record in supervising international contractors and technical assurance in complex EPCI or LNG infrastructure projects.

• Prior experience of onboard work on board line laying vessels and the ability to operate with resilience in high-pressure, multicultural environments. pressure.
