What you will do

As the Operational Risk Officer, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of the Risk Management Framework Operational Risk throughout the organization. Your work will be crucial to establish governance, policies and practices that allow you to proactively identify, evaluate, measure, report, mitigate and control exposures to operational risk.

Main responsibilities

  • Implement the operational risk management structure, standards and methodology, ensuring their suitability for the business;

  • Monitor the defined risk tolerance levels and propose adjustments when necessary;

  • Identify operational risks and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls, recommending improvements or new controls;

  • Facilitate the alignment of risk management processes with the Bank's internal policies and the applicable regulatory structure;

  • Communicate clearly and effectively the risk structure, standards, methodologies and principles for all areas of the business.

The ideal profile

We are looking for a professional with higher education in Business Management Risks, Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent area. It is essential to have proven ability to implement operational risk programs at scale, in addition to strong experience in project management and the ability to work in partnership with functional teams, communicating with both technical and non-technical users.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills;

  • Computer knowledge user interface: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;

  • Availability for interprovincial mobility;
