Warehouse Manager Vacancy - Maputo

Muhlbauer ID Services GmbH is recruiting a Warehouse Manager for Maputo, Mozambique. This role is suited to professionals with solid experience in logistics operations, stock control, and team coordination, capable of ensuring organization, operational accuracy, and alignment between the warehouse and the company’s other departments.

Role overview

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the warehouse, ensuring the proper functioning of the processes for receiving, storing, moving, and dispatching materials and equipment. The position requires close monitoring of operational routines, ongoing inventory control, and a strong focus on safety, hygiene, and efficiency in daily activities.

Main responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the warehouse and ensure the implementation of procedures at all stages of the logistics process.

• Ensure stock control and reconciliation, with rigorous monitoring of records and movements.

• Implement equipment inspection processes at the stages of receiving, storage, and dispatch.

• Plan daily warehouse activities according to the operational needs of projects and administrative areas.

• Ensure the monthly physical inventory of all stored equipment is carried out.

• Maintain clear safety and hygiene standards in the workplace.

• Promote constant coordination with different departments to ensure alignment across execution stages.

• Produce weekly reports and statistics on stock inflows and outflows, as well as equipment obsolescence indicators.

• Train, supervise, and evaluate the warehouse support team.

• Encourage teamwork and ensure the definition of a daily activity plan for the team, in coordination with the other departments.

Desired profile

• Higher education in administrative management.

• Specific training in stock and warehouse management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.

A profile with a strong sense of organization, operational coordination skills, and attention to detail will be valued, especially in contexts that require material control, compliance with procedures, and effective communication between teams.
