  • Duration: 6 months | Start: June 2026

1. ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Business For Movements Mozambique is an economic empowerment initiative dedicated to strengthening entrepreneurs and community leaders through practical training and specialized business mentoring. We operate under the vision of creating sustainable businesses that generate income, employment, and transformative social impact in the most needy communities.

2. POSITION OBJECTIVE

Recruit skilled volunteer facilitators to conduct entrepreneurship training sessions, offering mentoring in business modeling, financial management, marketing, and transformative leadership to groups of community entrepreneurs.

3. REQUIRED PROFILE

Essential Requirements:
  • Stable internet and WhatsApp access (daily communication with team)
    Proven experience in business, entrepreneurship, or business management
    Ability to communicate clearly and inspiringly in Portuguese

  • Availability of 15-20 hours per week for 6 months

  • Commitment to values-based volunteering and social impact

  • Aptitude for working with diverse groups (in-person and/or remote)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Education in administration, management, economics, or related fields

  • Previous experience in mentoring or training facilitation

  • Knowledge of innovation or business development methodologies

  • Sensitivity to issues of economic inclusion and sustainable development

  • Involvement in community initiatives or non-profit organizations

4. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate training sessions on Business Model Canvas and business planning

  • Provide individual and group mentorship to developing entrepreneurs

  • Monitor participant progress and record engagement metrics

  • Collaborate with the team to adapt materials to local realities

  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings via WhatsApp/videoconference

  • Contribute constructive feedback for continuous program improvement

5. VOLUNTEER CONDITIONS

Duration:

  • 6 months (June to November 2026)
    Compensation:

  • Unpaid | Certificate of participation and formal recognition

Support:

  • Training materials, technical support, and ongoing supervision from the BFM team

6. POST-VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

After the 6-month period, volunteers with exceptional performance and high engagement may be invited to join the permanent team of Business For Movements Mozambique, with possibilities for compensation, expanded responsibilities, and professional development.
