Maputo Central Hospital (HCM) has opened a public recruitment process for 10 Specialist Health Technician positions within the State administration. This is an opportunity for healthcare professionals who meet the required legal criteria and wish to join a leading public institution in Maputo.
Job overview
Under the order dated 20/03/2026 issued by the Director-General of Maputo Central Hospital, and in accordance with Law No. 4/2022 of 11 February, read together with Decree No. 61/2000 of 5 July, applications are now open to fill vacancies in the Specialist Health Technician career track.
The notice is valid for 30 days from the date it is posted.
General requirements
Mozambican nationality.
Hold a Tax Identification Number (NUIT).
Be at least 18 years old, provided this allows for completion of at least 180 contributions for retirement purposes.
Must not be retired.
Have the academic and technical-professional qualifications required for the career path.
Submit a health technical or technical-professional certificate in Instrumentation and Intensive Care.
Application documents
The application request must be addressed to the Director-General of Maputo Central Hospital through a formal application letter and declaration of commitment with notarized signature, accompanied by the following documents:
Birth registration certificate or certified copy of the Identity Card.
Curriculum Vitae.
Certified copy of the academic qualification certificate required for appointment to the post.
Duly certified certificate from the Order of Nurses.
Criminal record certificate.
At the admission stage, submission of all required eligibility criteria and documents is mandatory.
Selection process and submission
Candidates will be selected through CV assessment, professional interview, and written and practical tests, under paragraph 1 of article 16 of Ministerial Diploma No. 61/2000 of 5 July.
The recruitment process remains valid for 3 years from the date the final ranking list is published in the Boletim da República.
The application request must be submitted to the General Secretariat of Maputo Central Hospital, located at Av. Agostinho Neto, No. 1164, 1st Floor, Maputo, during normal business hours.
