(15) Job Openings at FDC Across Multiple Locations!

The Foundation for Community Development (FDC) is recruiting 15 Logistics Officers to support the Mass Distribution of Mosquito Nets campaign under the malaria control intervention quality improvement and acceleration programme in Mozambique. This opportunity is aimed at candidates with upper secondary or mid-level technical training, availability for fieldwork, and the ability to support logistics operations with organisation, speed, and a strong sense of responsibility.

The vacancies are spread across the districts of Manica Province and the provincial office in Chimoio, for an expected period of two months. The initiative is being implemented by FDC in partnership with World Vision and funded by the Global Fund.

• 12 positions for District Logistics Officers — one for each district in Manica Province

• 3 positions for Logistics Officers at the provincial office — Chimoio City

What the role involves

The selected professionals will support the logistics component of the campaign, ensuring better organisation of field activities and operational support for the teams involved. This is an important role for the smooth running of the distribution effort, with direct impact on the delivery of a large-scale public health intervention.

On a day-to-day basis, the work may require travel, oversight of district-level activities, and support for the flow of materials and operational processes linked to the campaign.

Candidate profile

• Completed upper secondary or mid-level technical education

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics within an NGO or similar institution will be considered an advantage

• Practical knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Availability to travel within the district and the province
