Fórum Terra-Nampula, a Mozambican civil society organization, is recruiting 2 Logistics Drivers to support activities under the MOZ Norte Project, funded by the World Bank. This is an opportunity for professionals with driving and logistics support experience, knowledge of local routes, and availability to work on site in Nampula Province.

What the role involves

Logistics Drivers will play a direct role in the project’s day-to-day operations, ensuring team mobility, transporting partners, and moving materials safely between work sites.

• Drive vehicles and motorcycles in support of project activities;

• Ensure the safe transport of staff, partners, and materials;

• Maintain cleanliness and carry out basic upkeep of transport vehicles;

• Monitor fuel consumption and accurately complete travel logs;

• Support field logistics and material distribution;

• Comply with road safety regulations and the organization’s internal policies.

Candidate profile

• Grade 12 education or equivalent minimum qualification;

• Valid professional driving licence;

• At least 3 years of experience as a driver;

• Knowledge of local routes, including Eráti and Memba;

• Basic mechanical knowledge;

• Responsibility, punctuality, and professional conduct;

• Ability to work in a team and in rural settings;

• Willingness to live in the assigned district.
