AB InBev is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for Maputo. This role is well suited to professionals with warehouse operations experience who can combine safety, operational discipline, and a strong performance mindset in day-to-day work. The main objective is to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient warehousing operation, with a direct impact on customer service levels and operational productivity.
What this role involves
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing inventory and warehouse operations, monitoring the receipt, storage, movement, picking, and dispatch of goods within the required timelines. The position requires constant attention to AB InBev safety standards, as well as tight control over routines, processes, and operational compliance.
Ensure 5S standards are maintained in and around the warehouse, tracking progress over time.
Ensure compliance with global policies and established operating procedures.
Validate and reinforce SOPs through management routines and operational tools, promoting clear understanding across teams.
Maintain SCL routines and monitor their execution consistently.
Promote a safe operation by tracking lockouts and critical safety processes applicable to the warehouse.
Where the role makes an impact
This position directly influences the reliability of the logistics operation. In addition to keeping the warehouse organized and aligned with the operational layout, the successful candidate will use problem-solving and continuous improvement tools to raise performance and correct deviations quickly.
Use tools such as 5 Why, anomaly reports, SIC, OPL, RACI, OWD, and PDCA to support action plans and improve performance indicators.
Cascade KPIs and PIs to teams, track individual results, and align execution with operational targets.
Ensure adherence to the warehouse layout, including areas such as the depalletizing zone, rejection area, order picking, and finished goods.
Follow up on approved projects and the implementation of best practices, with a focus on measurable progress.
Profile best suited to the role
This opportunity is a strong fit for candidates with higher education and hands-on warehouse experience, especially in environments that demand operational control, coordination skills, and disciplined execution.
Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a similar field.
At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt well to change.
Computer literacy.
