The Impactful Role of an Administration and Finance Officer

This function is the operational and financial heart of SAGASI Energies. You will act as the guardian of administrative processes and the financial strategist who ensures the company's sustainability and growth. Day-to-day life will be dynamic, involving an intersection of impeccable administrative management tasks and rigorous financial control, where each decision directly impacts the efficiency and economic health of the business.

Administration Area: The Operational Command Center

At the administrative level, your mission is to ensure that SAGASI's organizational machine works with watchmaker precision. This starts with the comprehensive management of administrative processes, from the organization and meticulous filing of documentation to the efficient control of correspondence and office hours. You will be the focal point for office logistics, ensuring all resources and workflows are aligned and operational.

One of your critical responsibilities will be the management of administrative contracts. This implies not only its formalization, but also the active monitoring of its compliance. Additionally, you will support and coordinate all processes of procurement of goods and services, ensuring that they are done ethically, economically and in accordance with internal policies. Your ability to coordinate diverse activities and ensure strict adherence to internal protocols will be fundamental to the cohesion of the entire organization.

Finance Area: The Pillar of Economic Solidity

In the financial sphere, your responsibility is to ensure the transparency, accuracy and financial health of the company. You will have direct control over revenues, expenses and cash flow, operations that are the lifeblood of any business. Your ability to prepare clear and precise financial and management reports will provide leadership with essential data for strategic decision making.

The detailed work of bank reconciliations and accounting entries will be routine, requiring almost microscopic attention to detail. You will proactively support the preparation of annual budgets and continuous financial control, ensuring that the company remains within its goals and projections. Crucially, you will be responsible for ensuring punctual and correct compliance with all tax and contributory obligations before the Mozambican authorities, a non-negotiable pillar of corporate compliance. Finally, your collaboration will be essential in supporting internal and external audits, providing all the necessary documentation and clarifications for transparent processes.

Fundamental Requirements: The Profile We Are Looking for

To be successful in this strategic role, we are looking for a professional with a solid foundation of knowledge and proven experience.

  • Academic Training: Degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management or a directly related field. This training must be the theoretical foundation for practical excellence.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 (three) years of professional experience in Administration and/or Finance functions. We are looking for someone who has already faced and resolved the challenges of day-to-day business.
  • Specific Knowledge: Solid command of Mozambican tax legislation and applicable administrative procedures. This knowledge is not just theoretical, it must be applicable in daily practice.
  • Technical Skills: Direct experience in administrative management, detailed financial control and preparation of reports for stakeholders. We need someone who can turn data into action.
  • Essential Tools: Advanced command of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on mastery of Microsoft Excel (analysis functions, pivot tables, graphs). It's your daily work tool.
  • Personal Attributes: A high sense of organization, unwavering professional ethics, absolute confidentiality and a deep sense of responsibility.
