Commercial Operations Manager in Matola | Inademy

We are hiring a Commercial Operations Manager for Matola at a leading company in the agricultural inputs sector. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in operational and commercial management who can coordinate teams, stores, warehouses, and logistics processes with a strong focus on efficiency, customer service, and target achievement.

What this role involves

Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will be responsible for the integrated management of the company’s commercial, administrative, and logistics operations. They will oversee the warehouse and store in Machava, as well as the network of stores located in Chokwé, Beira, Chimoio, and Nampula.

• Ensure smooth operations across the different business units

• Plan and control stock, logistics, and distribution

• Monitor the commercial and operational performance of each store

• Control operating costs, commercial margins, and key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Implement commercial and operational procedures

• Lead, train, and evaluate teams

• Ensure regular reporting to senior management

Candidate profile

• Degree in Agronomy, Management, Logistics, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in management roles

• Proven experience managing teams, stores, and/or warehouses across multiple locations

• Experience in the agricultural, agro-industrial, or agricultural inputs sector will be an advantage

• Computer literacy at user level

• Strong command of stock management systems, logistics, and analysis of operational and financial indicators

• Fluent Portuguese; English knowledge will be preferred

• Leadership, organisation, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Availability for frequent travel nationwide

• Mozambican nationality
