Consulting Manager

A EY is hiring a Consulting Manager for the Strategy and Transactionsteam, in Maputo, on an on-site and full-time basis. This is an opportunity for experienced professionals who want to lead projects that influence investment decisions, transactions, and financial transformation, working closely with companies, investors, and international teams.

What this role involves

As part of a leading team in the market, the professional will play a central role in supporting clients facing financial and strategic challenges across different stages of the economic cycle. The work includes participation in and coordination of projects related to due diligence, business valuation, financial modeling, feasibility studies, support for mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and debt or equity raising transactions.

On a daily basis, the role requires the ability to review and build financial models, develop forecasts, interpret data rigorously, and turn technical analysis into useful recommendations for decision-making. The position also requires contact with different stakeholders, preparation of reports and presentations, and close monitoring of work execution with a focus on quality, deadlines, and relevance for the client.

Profile that fits this vacancy

EY is looking for a professional with more than 5 years of experience, a strong analytical profile, and the autonomy to deal with complex problems. It is important to combine critical thinking with communication, organization, and leadership skills in a context where managing priorities, aligning teams, and supporting recommendations with data and consistent financial reasoning will be essential.

• MBA and Integrated Master's in Civil Engineering or related fields, according to the profile defined for the vacancy.

• Relevant professional experience in project management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with special focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.

• Advanced English, written and spoken.

• Strong technical writing, presentation, and relationship-building skills with different audiences.
