What the role involves

The professional will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and administering long-term contracts with suppliers and other external parties. On a day-to-day basis, this includes supporting procurement processes from the initial request through award, ensuring that all documentation, commercial terms, and legal requirements are properly handled.

  • Draft and review contracts with suppliers of goods and services.

  • Prepare tender processes, issue invitations to submit proposals, review applications, and support award decisions.

  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices, seeking a balance between contractual risk and business objectives.

  • Monitor purchase orders and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with contractual clauses and internal policies.

  • Act in the resolution of contractual disputes with suppliers or internal users.
