A Sasol is recruiting 1 Specialist Contracting for Temane, Inhambane. This is a central role in managing contracts for goods and services, with a focus on complex procurement, risk control, legal compliance, and direct support to business objectives. It is a strong opportunity for professionals with solid experience in procurement and contracting, able to negotiate independently and ensure clear, robust contracts aligned with company policies.
What the role involves
The professional will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and administering long-term contracts with suppliers and other external parties. On a day-to-day basis, this includes supporting procurement processes from the initial request through award, ensuring that all documentation, commercial terms, and legal requirements are properly handled.
Draft and review contracts with suppliers of goods and services.
Prepare tender processes, issue invitations to submit proposals, review applications, and support award decisions.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and prices, seeking a balance between contractual risk and business objectives.
Monitor purchase orders and procurement activities, ensuring compliance with contractual clauses and internal policies.
Act in the resolution of contractual disputes with suppliers or internal users.
Work with the legal team and internal and external stakeholders whenever contracts need to be adjusted, validated, or formalized.

Relevant degree in a Commercial, Legal, or equivalent field.
At least 6 years of experience in procurement and contracting.
Practical knowledge of contracting and contract management stages.
Ability in analysis, negotiation, and decision-making.
Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with different stakeholders.
Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
Experience with SAP or related systems.
Ability to work under pressure and manage processes rigorously.
