## About the Role Action contre la Faim (ACF) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Area Coordinator to lead program implementation in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. You will play a key role in managing teams, ensuring quality programming, and contributing to ACF's strategic positioning in a complex humanitarian setting. ## Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage a portion of the program team, ensuring effective delegation and performance. - Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of ACF programs in Cabo Delgado, adhering to high-quality standards and donor requirements. - Facilitate internal and external coordination to enhance program delivery and partnerships. - Contribute to ACF's strategic positioning and development of new project proposals. - Support ACF's commitments to gender equality and protection across all activities. ## Requirements - Master's degree in development, humanitarian aid, international relations, or a related field. - At least 2 years of field experience in humanitarian project management. - Proven experience in team management and working in complex humanitarian settings. - Strong knowledge of project cycle management and ACF sectors (Nutrition-Health, WASH, FSL, Emergency Response, MHCP-GP). - Understanding of support functions (security, logistics, finance, HR). - Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian is an asset. ## We Offer - Fixed-term contract under French legislation: 12 months until 30/09/2027. - Monthly gross salary from €2,332 to €2,676 (including 13th month), based on experience. - Pension insurance reimbursement (16% of gross salary) for non-French citizens. - Annual salary increase of 6% after each 12 months of continuous contract. - Monthly per diem and living allowance: €627 net, field paid. - Monthly country allowance: €150. - Child allowance: €1,500 per year per child (max €6,000/year). - Transportation and guest house accommodation covered. - Comprehensive medical coverage (100% of health and repatriation insurance). - 25 paid leave days and 20 R&R days per year with airfare reimbursement. - Access to e-learning platform and career development support.
